Beautiful and useful eye pillows

Hello, I don,t know if I told you but my back surgery is The 12th of November finally they called. And it's not too soon, I'm really falling to pieces here, I can't stand no more, can't walk and so I cannot take care of myself properly. My husband works all the time so I'm pretty mush left to myself, it's pretty depressing, but I don't let it bring me down, Well first I'm on pain killers, which do the job most of the time and I keep busy by sewing a lot, yes I hand sew, and look at these beauties.
Each eye pillow has an inside pouch which contains the lavender/flax seed mixture , which in turn permits you to take off the outside pouch and wash it by hand please, and put it back on once it is dry. I have 3 beautiful models for now and they are all re purposed naturally cause that is my purpose in life, he he he!!!
These babies are perfect to put on your forehead or on your eye regoin when you have a headache, when you are stressed out, ore when you simply want to be left alone for awhile and want to feel good , then you can feel all the benefits working from the lavender & the flax seeds.
If these eye pillow interest you then you can get them at RecupefashionB

Let me know what you think when you buy one. Cause when you buy from Recupefashion, you are buying handmade quality and love. While you are there please take time to visit around. Thanks

PS: there is a 20% sale going on right now for XMAS so hurry

Thanks have a great day.

Another shop at FuzzBearth

Today I want to talk to you about my opening my Recupefashion shop in a new venue at
Fuzz Bearth. It cost me $25.00 for the whole year and I don't have to pay another penny for listing no matter how many listings I do or how many sales I do along the year.
And there are a few cool things on their site but quite a few glitches and it's hard to get help but I'm certain it'll get better with time.
I'm now working even if my back pains are killing me, oh BTW, my back surgery has been cancelled again for November but they don't know for when, I'm so fed up.
Anyways back to the shop, I'm wanting to get it ready for Xmas and at the same time I'd like for the other ones to be ready also.
Here are a few items that are in the shop right now.

Copper corn fieds necklace

This one I'll be listing right after this post

Eat your veggies tea wallet

Miss flora tea wallet

So if you have a chance to come down and visit me, great and for the occasion, I'm offering 10% on your first order, simply write Recup 10 in note to seller on your way to check out.
Thanks and have a great day.
PS: you can also find some awesome tea wallets and beaded bookmarks and wrist cuffs at
Recupefashion on Etsy.

Weird creatures

Today I wanted to show a site I fell upon where it shows creatures we have on this planet.
You will see that these creatures are not very good looking. I'm only gonna show a few on the blog, but go to the source to see the rest. Here goes. Warning maybe your kids are going to have night mare so pleas keep them away from the screen, I found these at Nature's weirdest creatures

Dumbo Octopus

a deep deep sea octopus.. cute isn't it?

Tongue-eating tardigrade....

The parasite eventually becomes the tongue of the fish when the original tongue shrivels off as the parasite draws blood from the tongue it clinged onto.

I found this to be hair raising.

Weta
Found in new zealand, one of the biggest insects around.. it's classified under the genus Deinacrida.. which means.. Terrible Grasshopper... oh ya.. it bites.. and it's jaws are HUGE!!

Blobfish

again, this is another wtf? a deep sea fish... which is.. blobbish...
man that's gross!
So that is it for now but the site is really worth seeing though, there is a lot of creatures out there that we don't know exist and this site show them to you ugly in all it's splendor

Meet my new friend

Hey people let me introduce to you my new friend,
Lemmy is a kitten that we found on our balcony, 2 weeks ago on this coming Sunday.
He is absolutely the coolest kitten I've seen in the longest time. He stays on his back while you pet him and stays there for hours. And he purrs for hours on end.
So say hello to Lemmy The rock-Roll cat.

What do you think about organic products?

Organic products are wonderful, I love them and I wouldn't live without them, but you do have to know how to dose them and you sure have to watch out for charlatans.
The person called a charlatan is being accused of resorting to quackery pseudo-science or some knowingly employed bogus means of impressing people in order to swindle his victims by selling them worthless nostrums and similar goods or services that will not deliver on the promise made to them.
Aha a little lesson today about what a certain may mean, that is always good, I could have used Wiki. but I felt like writing it myself.

I have been living a green, organic life, my family and myself for about 10 years and feeling very good, energetic, and 10 years younger. I don't buy everything organic, I don't go overboard, But I do on certain stuff. My veggies, fruits , I buy local, for the make-up I refuse to pay a fortune for so I go half way, besides I do not wear that much so I go for the basic creams and I look for the ones that are affordably priced and are pretty organic, Hey that would be a cool future post. I make my own deodorant, I make my own lip balm, so I save on those.
I make it a point that everything that enters my house is green(not the color) or organic.

When I see other people that still don't recycle, I get mad, because It think they are really lazy, they could get off their butt and do something about that. I mean if we all joined in we would succeed in making this a greener planet and I would love for my kids to have a better and greener planet to live in and for a long time after them too.
But it does take an effort to do the first step but once you do the first step, man you are half way there. And it seems there are more people taking this step every day now, and that is so great,
even companies are turning green. From what I've read in this blog these
5 companies have turned green
So let's all welcome

The Hain-Celestial Group

It's a leading natural & organic food and personal care
product company in North
America and Europe.
This group is free from animal derived from ingredients
and is not tested on animals.
You will remember Jason Natural products and ZiaNaturalSkin Care
These are both from under Hain-Celestial Group

Sabon

This company has maintained an impeccable quality standards
since opening it's store in Tel Aviv in 1991.
Has recently been offered the Eco cert seal of approval for it's new organic skin care line.
Their mission is to create and offer a range of exceptional bath and body products using time honored remedies based on the finest natural ingredients.
Bring luxury to the everyday for the everyone.

Korres

With roots in the first homeopathic pharmacy in Greece, this brand sells it's natural
products in specialty stores and boutiques throughout the United States.
Established in 1996, Korres today offers advanced natural formulations that delivers maximum results. The active natural used in the formulas ensure enhanced products performance,
bringing you clinically proven advanced skincare benefits while also avoiding harmful synthetic compounds, to ensure maximum skin compatibility and environmentally-conscious products.

Weleda

85 years old, a very energetic and vital company.
They abide by a set of European rules on organic development, manufacturing
and distribution. Creamy body washes with lavender, body scrubs with birch
and other natural products make up their collection of organic little luxuries.

Aubrey Organics

It's hard to find good organic fragrance that smells good too.
But thanks to Aubrey Organics, You can have an organic fragrance that smells
great. They make it for the men, and for the women.
From Spring Floral to Ocean Water, their scent may not sound too original
But they sure are organic.
Their mission is to provide all natural, safe and effective personal care and lifestyle
products to the consumer. They offer a true authentic alternative to many of the mass produce synthetic products on the market today.

So to get back to our being organic, like I always say, it's ok to be passionate about something,
but it's not ok to go overboard with something. So just be organic wisely I say and you will be happy.

Those seemed like really good companies, now you can go and do some shopping hehe!.
But I would love to show you my favorite place for handmade makeup and yes it is organic.
Go visit lush it is super fun and colorful, they sell shampoo, styling gels, face cleansers moisturizers, shaving creams, body butters, massage bars, deodorants, I mean they've got everything and they sell world wide. I simply adore them.

Now here is a blog I follow regularly which has great subjects, and makes me laugh at times too.
It has other green links also so you can hop for there to other places.
So may I present to you SewGreen Blog

May you have fun reading even if not totally organic well at least it is green.
On this I will leave you to think about organic and green.
Be well and have a great evening.

Hazel Aid Giveaway

Hey gang, remember a little while back I did a short review on Hazel Aid? Wel guess what? they contacted me and agreed on doing a giveaway. They are giveaway
any child or adult necklace, bracelet or anklet of the winner's choice as the prize (just not the ointment or lotion). The contest is open to residents of both Canada & the US.
But first let's remind each other of a few things about Hazel Aid in case there are few out there that just got here.

PS We just started offering several new product lines including hazelwood/amber combos, hazelwood magnetic combos, and amber necklaces too! The winner can pick from any line .

All-natural, organic, handmade hazelwood necklaces that provide relief from eczema, acid reflux, teething pain, etc.

Hazelaid was born when our family was introduced to the amazing healing properties of hazelwood products. Our daughter was suffering with severe eczema when we were told about these necklaces. We tried them out and within 2 weeks of her wearing it, her eczema was gone. That was the beginning of our journey with hazelwood necklaces. We have since seen them help many others with so many issues.

These necklaces made with pieces of wood from the hazelnut tree have the unique property of absorbing the excess acid produced in our bodies when it is in contact with our skin.

Hazelwood necklaces were originally used by native americans to help alleviate their babies' teething pains. They have since been shown to help with numerous other ailments all related to an imbalance of acidity in the body.

Our necklaces come in adorable child models, fashionable adult models, as well as bracelets and anklets.

If you suffer from:

Arthritis,

Osteoporosis,

Acid reflux,

Heart burn,

Ulcers,

Acne,

Cold sores,

Eczema,

Headaches,

Migraines,

...it is highly probable that you are suffering from an acidity imbalance. These hazelwood necklaces can help you alleviate these symptoms in a natural way.

Visit us at www.hazelaid.com

Also, here is the story of my own personal experience with the product:

Hazelwood has been used for hundreds of years by Native Americans to help relieve numerous ailments, especially teething pain in babies. The wood is an alkaline wood and therefore has the natural property of absorbing acid when it is in contact with skin. Much of the pain associated with teething is a result of excess acid production which is why these necklaces are able to dramatically relieve not only teething pain, but also help clear up eczema and reduce acid reflux! Both of those conditions (as well as others) often find their root cause to be excess acidity.

My husband & I heard about these necklaces a bit over a year ago after trying in vain to help our then 3 month old with the eczema that had overtaken her poor little body! Nothing we tried helped, so when a friend of mine mentioned these necklaces to us, we were skeptical but willing to try anything. Her baby son had previously been on medication to help with his severely painful acid reflux but, she explained, within 2 weeks of him wearing the hazelwood necklace, he no longer exhibited any symptoms! She carefully took him off his medicine and he had been fine ever since! Wow! She mentioned that the necklace was supposed to help with eczema as well so we gave it a shot and ordered for our whole family. Since then we have never looked back! Sure enough, within 2 weeks her eczema cleared up entirely and only comes back if we take off her necklace and forget to put it back on (oops!) or when the necklace is saturated and has absorbed all the acid it can. When that happens (every few months or so), we put on a new one and within a few hours to a day or so, her eczema is gone again. I can't explain it but all I can say is we are sold! We have also benefited from how helpful it has been for teething pain for both our son & our youngest daughter. We have since decided to start an online company to make these marvels available to more people and get the word out. We have received so many emails from people telling us they had tried so many things to heal their various issues (eczema, teething, acid reflux, heartburn, & headaches being some of the main ones) and nothing has worked as well as these necklaces! They are so grateful not to be pumping their bodies and their little ones' bodies full of unnecessary and possibly harmful medicines, but instead to be able to treat these issues naturally and effectively.

If you are interested in learning more about hazelwood, check out our website at www.hazelaid.com.

Info about how Baltic amber works and what it helps with:

Commonly known as "teething jewelry" in Europe, Baltic amber has been a natural remedy for pain relief for hundreds of years. As it warms with the body’s natural temperature, amber releases its healing oils that contain succinic acid which are then readily absorbed into the skin and then into the bloodstream.

Amber is known to relieve headaches, reduce inflammation of the throat, ear and stomach and to fight infections and respiratory diseases as it improves the body’s immunity.

Natural amber beaded necklaces are a completely non-invasive remedy for rashes, upset tummies, earaches, fevers and colds. Baltic amber is a natural analgesic that will help calm your child and is recognized by allopathic medicine specialists as antispasmodic and anti-fever. Many adults report improvement of arthritis discomfort and carpal tunnel pain in their hands when wearing amber jewelry.

And to the giveaway

This giveaway will be on for 2 weeks so it will end on Sept 22nd at midnight and then I will pick a winner and the winner will then pick his or her prize at the site of Hazel Aid. Remember, if you have a small one that suffers form acidity she to can win it. Or better buy it for her. It really works. My friends wear these bracelets and it works on them amazingly well. So here's what I want you do to.

Please take a moment to leave a comment and tell me from what ailness you suffer in those that we mentioned above.

Check my new blog

Hey gang I'd love for you to go visit my new blog
Recupefashion blog
I know it has the same name as my shop.
Guess what? You'll also be able to buy the same type of items as in my Recupefashion shop
All you have to do is go over to my new blog , since it's new there isn't much but you can look at what is on sale now , which are some beautiful spa bath sets and maybe follow me for future visits and maybe leave me a comment. And I'll be adding some new items as I go along.
Make certain to come by periodically to check out the new items so you don't miss out anything.
Now you can buy direct from me and remember I still do custom, so if you see something you like but you don't like the color , just email me and we'll try to work something together since I'm into recycling things, so it may be a bit more difficult for me to find certain colors or other items.
I'll be seeing you
Thanks for your time.

Boost your immunity

BOOST YOUR IMMUNITY

Even if you take precautionary measures to avoid illness this fall and winter, such as getting a flu shot and washing your hands frequently, there is still one more factor to consider: a strong immune system. Your immune system is your body's watchdog, and it's always looking out for you. It manufactures antibodies, which identify and fend off invaders. Also, your immune system has a built-in memory: It remembers how it defended your body against past invaders, and it stands ready to do it again. This is how vaccines work.

Here are five ways to give your hardworking immune system a boost during the season of sniffles.

1. Get enough sleep. Just like the rest of you, your immune system gets weary, and too little sleep compromises its ability to protect you against sickness. Aim to get at least seven to eight hours of sleep each night.

2. De-stress. Chronic stress causes your body to be in a constant fight-or-flight mode; in fact, stress causes your body to secrete certain substances that weaken your immune system. Taking steps to reduce stress in your life — whether that means taking yoga classes, getting regular massages or saying "no" more often when you're spread too thin — will help your immune system stay in top shape.

3. Eat right. There is a definite correlation between overall health and strong immunity, and what you eat plays a big role. Experts recommend loading up on vitamins B6 and B12, and eating a diet low in red meat and high in fruits, vegetables and fish. There also is evidence that chicken soup can help strengthen your immune system — all the more reason to cook up a fresh batch right now!

4. Exercise more. When it comes to exercise and immunity, it's important to find the right balance. Exercising too much or exercising when you're already starting to feel sick actually can weaken your system. But moderate exercise, such as brisk walking, jogging or bicycling three to four times a week, is a great way to keep your immune system going strong. Be sure to consult a physician before beginning an exercise program.

5. Enjoy yourself. Preliminary research suggests that listening to your favorite music is one way to help your body make more IgA, a protein that helps fight infections. And the birds and bees just might have something to say about this matter, too: Being intimate is another way to give your immune system a boost of IgA. Whatever activity you choose, make sure it is both relaxing and enjoyable.

Interview with Melinda McGrath from shop

Good Tuesday people, I hope you are having a great day.
Today I would like to feature a fellow etsian that I think has great talent.
I I would like you to meet her, her name is Melinda and she designs clothes.
AS she describes herself, she's quite laid back from her beach lifestyle, her clothes
translate that quite well. When you go through her shop you feel like everyone is on vacation mode so she's the perfect shop to go to when you wanna go shopping before going on vacation. Her clothes are light, colorful, they perspire freshness and fun. She does clothing for adults and kids. Her clothing are quite easy to put on as off so they are very comfortable.
You'll also notice that she loves using crochet, lace trimming and doilies or any other sort of material she can find to decorate her clothes.
She is you and sweet and very creative and I wish her good luck with her art.
You can visit her shop at lazulibluecreations shop.

Now on to the interview.

.

What's your name?
Melinda McGrath. Business name - lazulibluecreations

Where are you from?
Australia

What has gotten you interested in your business?
I started making clothes from recycled materials when I discovered thrift shops as a teenager. Nowadays, I use both new and recycled materials.

What made you decide on your shop's name
My favourite colour is turquoise which is a shade of blue, and I love lapiz lazuli which is also blue. I use creations at the end because I feel like I am more of a creator than a designer.

What's the item you're most proud of?
I love my range of stretch skirts. They are made from fabrics with beautiful prints and colours and the style is so comfortable and sits nicely on your hips. They can be worn both in summer and winter and some of them can be worn by pregnant women.

What or who inspires you?
I love reading magazines to get new ideas and also people watching. I have a market stall twice a month and love to people watch to get an idea of what people are wearing. I live in a very laidback, touristic beach town, so that influences my creations a lot.

what is your typical workday like??
I wake up and the first thing I think of is coffee. I then teach English to Korean adults online for a few hours, which I love. After finishing teaching, I will have lunch and watch Oprah and get emotional. In the afternoon, I will cut out patterns, sew or hand-dye, whatever needs doing that day, but if I'm not in the mood I will go swimming at the beach, or go for a walk to the national park, which is next our stunning ocean and you can usually see whales or dolphins on the way.

Is your business full time? If not, what do you do to pay the bills?
No, it is part time. I also teach English to adults. I like the balance of using my brain and my creativity.

What do you do in your spare time?
I love going to the beach, walking and riding, reading magazines, reading books and hanging out with friends and my boyfriend.

What are your goals for your business?
I would like to get into wholesaling my children's clothes and getting more regular sales on Etsy.

Anything else you would like to share with my readers?
My garments are mostly one of a kind creations so you won't see them on another person and I offer free shipping on many items in my store.

Thank you so much Melinda for this chance of interviewing you, it was much fun.
I wish you luck with your shop and many sales to come.
And now for you my friends what I would really like from you is fro you to leave me comments on how you liked the feature, how you liked the shop I just featured and if not why, other comment you might have. That would really please me.

Sustainable Group Rebinders

hi everyone, today I want to tell you about a product I found little while ago,
and decided to tell you about it since it's back to school soon.
They're sustainable re binders,. In short what it means is , they're recycled binders made with chipboard. Wonderful and very sturdy. I bought myself one and I love it so much. I bought it here at Sustainable Group and you too can buy a whole lot of other cool recycled stuff for back to school . They also have back to school kits, cd/dvd sleeves, whole range of measurements for the re binders, green note pads and note books, name badges, the eco pen, etc.

Their prices are quite affordable and you have to compare price and durability . These products will last for years. Not like those plastic binders you get at 3.00$ and they don't even last the school year. So make sure you visit Sustainable group for your back to school need or your office needs. Hope you enjoyed this little feature.
